Council for Interior Design Accreditation Board elects officers, appoints new directors

Jennifer Busch, Hon. IIDA, Vice President of Business Development for Officeworks (New York) is currently serving a one-year term as the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) Board Chair effective January 1, 2025. Busch represents industry on the CIDA Board. Victoria Horobin, BAA, ARIDO, IDC, NCIDQ, Principal at KBH Interior Design (Toronto) and Board liaison to the Interior Designers of Canada (IDC), was elected as CIDA’s Chair-elect. CIDA Director Susan Wiggins, CAE, Hon. IDC, Executive Director of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (Toronto) and public member of the CIDA Board, was elected Secretary-Treasurer.

Two new Director appointments were made to the nine-member CIDA Board. Christopher M. Good, CID, NCIDQ, ASID, IIDA, LEED AP was appointed as Accreditation Commission representative. Good is Chief Creative Officer at One Workplace (Santa Clara, CA). Jennifer Graham, D.F.A. (Hon), FIIDA, LEED AP, Principal, Workplace at Perkins&Will (New York) was appointed as liaison to the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) on the CIDA Board of Directors. The Council for Interior Design Accreditation is an independent, non-profit, accrediting organization responsible for setting standards and evaluating degree-granting interior design programs. There are 169 CIDA-accredited programs in the U.S., Canada, Cypress, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
